Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Director, the job of the Group Financial Controller will involve:
Key duties:
- Production of the monthly management accounts, including profit and losses and balance sheet
- Attending senior management team meetings and presenting all financial results
- Variance analysis and month end
- Cashflow control and cashflow forecasting
- Payroll for monthly and weekly staff
- Preparing consolidation accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Monthly VAT and EC sales reporting
- Leading the annual audit for business entities
- Annual budget preparation
- Overseeing the sales and purchase ledger
- Managing the transactional accounts team
What you\'ll need to succeed
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA)
- Should come from either a practice/ audit background or have similar experience working in industry.
- Strong technical accounting skills
- Ideally, have experience of managing staff, but not essential
- Professional approach to work
- Posses the drive and ability to assess and improve current processes and procedures
- Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
- Strong Excel skills
