Your new company
Hays Senior Finance are delighted to be partnering with a great company in Telford who are part of a European group of companies. Established more than 50 years ago, they specialise in the manufacturing of bespoke products for their customer base.
Your new role
Reporting to the Managing Director, the job will be a hands-on role and will involve the management of 2 accounts staff. You will also assume responsibility for the finance function of the core trading business in the Telford site. Along with this duties will involve:

• Preparation of the profit and loss and balance sheet on a monthly basis
• Preparing the annual budgets
• Capex expenditure
• Stock and Inventory control
• VAT/ Corporation tax
• Development and implementation of business plans
• Management of financial reporting and controls
• Management of external relationships of auditors and other stakeholders
• Provision of management information to meet business needs
• Production and maintenance of statutory accounts
• Maximising cash flow through effecting cash management
• Monthly review of all balance sheet control accounts reconciliations
• Performing internal reviews of systems and procedures to ensure compliance is adhered to

What you\'ll need to succeed
You will have experience of managing a small accounts team.
Ideally, they are looking for a qualified accountant, but would consider candidates who have the right experience.
Have experience of working to deadlines and producing management accounts
Experience of year-end accounting and liaising with auditors
