Form of workAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a Financial Controller to work for this successful business. Reporting to the Managing Director, your duties will be as follows:
- Providing financial support to 3 companies
- Investigating and advising on highly complex and sensitive financial issues
- Liaising with the bank, auditors and finance company
- Preparing financial reports for the management/Board, including P & L
- Ensuring statutory accounts and returns are accurate
- Managing the cash flow and the bank position
- Securing online banking payments including supplier payment, wages, PAYE & VAT
- Reconciling monthly aged payables reports, GRNI and intercompany accounts
- Responsible for monthly KPIs, month end bank reports and VAT return
- Ensuring all finance deadlines are adhered to
You will be a qualified or part qualified Accountant and have solid experience in a similar role. Manufacturing experience is essential, as is experience of imports and exports. Knowledge and use of invoice financing would be advantageous.
