Part-Time Financial Controller

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Part-time Financial Controller to work for this successful business in Cramlington. Reporting to the Managing Director, your duties will be as follows:

• Providing financial support to 3 companies
• Investigating and advising on highly complex and sensitive financial issues
• Liaising with the bank, auditors and finance company
• Preparing financial reports for the management/Board, including P & L
• Ensuring statutory accounts and returns are accurate
• Managing the cash flow and the bank position
• Securing online banking payments including supplier payment, wages, PAYE & VAT
• Reconciling monthly aged payables reports, GRNI and intercompany accounts
• Responsible for monthly KPIs, month end bank reports and VAT return
• Ensuring all finance deadlines are adhered to

You will be a qualified or part qualified Accountant and have solid experience in a similar role. Manufacturing experience is essential, as is experience of imports and exports. Knowledge and use of invoice financing would be advantageous.
