Job description
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Part-Time Financial Controller to work for this highly successful business. Your duties will be as follows:
- Responsible for the finance function of the business
- Production of monthly and annual management accounts
- Responsible for budgets and forecasts and discussing with the management team
- Production of statutory accounts, corporation tax, VAT returns and balance sheet reconciliations
- Looking at job costings and discussing progress with managers and staff
- Analysing project costings against revenue
- Managing the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Working with consultants to collate information for the R & D claims
- Applying for grant funding opportunities and applications
- Responsible for payroll
- Submitting PAYE and VAT to HMRC
- Debt control and ensuring payments are made on time
- Responsible for cashflow management and banking
You will have worked in a similar role and be either qualified or qualified by experience. Strong IT skills, including Excel and Xero are essential.
This is a flexible, hybrid role with occasional visits to the office.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: Up to 45,000.00 per year
Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
