Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum

I am seeking a dynamic and experienced Financial Controller to join our prestigious high-end Luxury Lighting and Design company based in the heart of London. As a Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing our financial operations, ensuring the company's fiscal success, and contributing to its growth in the luxury market.

Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
• Analyse financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Collaborate with department heads to create and manage the annual budget.
• Monitor budget performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Prepare financial forecasts based on industry trends and company goals.

Cash Flow Management:

• Manage cash flow to ensure optimal working capital.
• Implement effective cash management and treasury strategies.
• Oversee the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Financial Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
• Work closely with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and advise the leadership team accordingly.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Provide guidance on financial matters to other departments within the organization.

Strategic Planning:

• Contribute to the development and execution of the company's strategic plan.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role in the luxury goods or design industry.
• ACCA, CIMA, or ACA qualification is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of financial management principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
