Financial Controller

Our client, an SME in Bury are looking to appoint a hands on Financial Controller to support the Managing Director, run the Finance function and manage a small team. Due to the nature of the business, this role is fully on site. This would suit an experienced Finance Manager looking to step up or someone already operating at FC level.
Salary: £50,000-£60,000 DOE
Location: Bury (on site)
Responsibilities:
* Monthly management accounts, including processing month-end journals and reporting to senior management and investors at monthly board meetings
* Preparation of 13-week cashflow forecasts and submitting to group weekly
* Preparation of year end accounts for audit and liaison with auditors
* Maintaining cashbook and posting payments and receipts to Sage 50, including sales and purchase invoices
* Processing monthly VAT returns and monthly PAYE including sub-contractors' CIS returns
* Processing weekly and monthly payroll and sub-contractor payments
* Supervising purchase ledger and supplier invoice processing
Requirements:
* ACCA/CIMA Qualified
* Experience in an SME
* Sage 50
