Page Personnel are working alongside a very successful company based in Preston. They are seeking a Financial Controller to join the team on a Temporary basis with the view of going permanent. The ideal candidate will have the capacity to manage accounting & finance operations in a fast-paced environment.

Description

As a Financial controller you will be responsible for:

• Manage and oversee daily operations of the accounting & finance department.
• Monitor and analyse accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
• Coordinate and complete annual audits.
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
• Coordinate with management regarding financial analysis and projections.
• Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Additional duties as necessary.

Profile

A successful Financial Controller should have:

• Proven working experience as a Financial Controller
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Excellent accounting software user administration skills.
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
