You will be joining the Anti-Money Laundering (AML)/ Counter Terrorist Financing (CTF) Financial Crime Operations (FCO) team which ensures that the systems it is tasked with monitoring are operating and being used in accordance with all relevant legal and regulatory AML and CTF requirements. Your main focus will be the investigation of alerts generated by transaction monitoring. You will be conducting alert investigations, AML investigations, investigating internal referrals and where appropriate, making recommendations to escalate suspicions to case resolutions team for consideration of external reporting.

- Part of a team tasked with Alert and AML investigations resulting from Transaction Monitoring Alerts, internal escalations, and escalations from AFC teams
- Apply consistent, robust, and defensible rationale to cases to comply with relevant legislation and regulations
- Provide Investigative support to the wider FCO team as required
- Utilise open-source intelligence, financial intelligence, and external database searches to identify any relevant adverse information
- Investigate internal escalations to determine if the alert/case requires consideration of external reporting
- Educated to Bachelor's degree level or equivalent qualification/relevant work experience
- A keen interest in Financial Services
- Competent at drafting written and delivering oral communications
- Able to display effective decision making and strong solving skills
- Able to identify, escalate and communicate issues to management in an effective and sufficient manner
