Job Description
- Compliance Subject Matter Expertise for Foreign Exchange, Money Market, Derivatives and Deposits
- Knowledge of transaction reporting including EMIR and MiFIR obligations across all asset classes (in conjunction with OAD, F&C, RMD and STPD-Legal and any other relevant stakeholders).
- Expert judgement and a high level of accountability to escalate issues for remediation to key stakeholders incl senior management, often urgently, defining and implementing escalation criteria and practises to ensure BAU regulatory risks and issues are escalated timely and reporting to the regulators occurs appropriately, consistently and at the right levels, supporting Compliance management and senior management in liaising with the regulators when issues are discovered.
- Real-time compliance advice and proactive dialogue with Financial Markets Department
The Successful Applicant
Considerable experience of:
Advising businesses on how to comply with laws, rules and regulations including pre and post trade transaction reporting
Investigating potential or actual breaches of relevant laws, rules and regulations
Financial services and marketsExtensive knowledge of:
Treasury Securities and Services products and services
Benchmarks Regulation
MIFID best execution reporting requirements
