SalaryThis position is for a Financial Reporting Manager in the professional services industry, based in Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Financial Reporting and will need to possess a strong background in accounting and finance.

Description
- Oversee and manage all Financial Reporting activities within the company.
- Post acquisition integration of new businesses.
- Conversion to IFRS reporting standards.
- Completion accounts and opening balance sheets.
- Preparing group consolidated accounts.
- Ownership of technical reporting, including liaison with external auditors and tax advisors, ensuring financial integrity of the statutory accounts.
- Financial reporting to be presented at board level.
- Review of balance sheet reconciliations and support and implement process improvement.
- Lead on the annual audit, being the main point of contact between the auditors and the finance team.
- Develop and implement Financial Reporting procedures and policies.
- Provide financial advice to senior management.
- Mentor and guide finance team members.
Profile
A successful Financial Reporting Manager should have:
- A qualification in accounting or finance (ACA is preferred)
- Proven experience in a Financial Reporting role within the professional services industry.
- Strong knowledge of Financial Reporting standards and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
