My FMCG Sales Agency client are looking for a Junior National Account Manager to join them on a permanent basis. They act as an outsourced sales function for their clients. This role will fall under their Grocery Retail sector so the successful candidate will need to have experience/ understanding of this area specifically with one of the Major Multiples, Asda, Sainsburys, Tescos & Morrisons.
You will work remotely with an office visit (Berkshire) once a month as mandatory so you can meet up with the rest of the team. You will be joining an existing team of 3 on the Grocery Retail side.
You will act an Account Manager working with multiple different brands alongside a Senior Member of staff who will be there to support you at all times. Depending on the size of the account, typically you will have between 4-8 accounts to look after at any one time and also depending on the 'stage' of the accounts weather they might be looking at promotions or JDP's for example. Travel is expected 2-4 times a month and the company will cover all mileage and travel expenses.
They are looking for someone who is able to build up a network and relationships, who is also ambitious. They are looking for someone who has experience or at least awareness of pricing, promotions, business plans and interacting with buyers. Strong presentation skills are key in this area.
Natural progression for this role would be to Commercial Manager, which they are keen for you to get to as quickly as you want!
They run quarterly incentives which include weekends away to Ibiza, Portugal and the Cotswolds!
