Reed have partnered with a manufacturer supplying their products globally, headquartered in Bristol, who are recruiting an exciting new role due to continued growth as a National Account Manager covering the whole of the UK.
Whilst this role is a national coverage, we’re ideally looking at candidates to be based centrally within the UK, good links into London and motorways, for example Reading, South East, London.
You will be focussing on developing new Foodservice Business across the UK, targeting end users for example QSR, hotels, restaurants, Leisure, Education with an aim to drive business back via the distribution chain.
If you’ve had any experience within manufacturing, disposable non-food, catering, we’re quite open. The essential part is of this role is we’re looking for someone who is hungry to generate new business and has a track record of doing so.
The role is 70% New business & 30% existing account management, working closely with the Commercial Director, their field sales team and customer service admin department.
Salary: £55k - £60k + Company car
OTE: 20% of salary paid annually in December
Pension: 5% company contribution
Location: National
Annual leave: 25 days plus bank holidays and company closure over Christmas
Duties
Increase sales at direct manufacturer level
Work in conjunction with Commercial Director to increase market share, working within agreed pricing structure and maintaining Group profitability expectations
Add value using relevant industry experience (or transferable knowledge from aligned markets) by working with the Commercial Director on the overall future direction and strategy
Support marketing strategies to realise the potential of the brand and product range
Develop strong relationships with clients ensuring they become long-term partners.
Constantly review the customer base and the agreed strategy, adding value to the company with innovations and new concepts
Support other field sales and internal colleagues as required
Gain agreement from CEO & Commercial Director to implement new plans
Provide first class customer service and support
Liaise with the administration and sales team
Maintain the sales prospect CRM database and customer files, quotations and records
Set up and participate in exhibitions
