As our FP&A Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of all financial reporting, planning and analysis in accordance with both internal and external reporting guidelines and requirements. You should be organised and methodical, with an ability to plan and deliver on multiple competing priorities. You are confident and, able to challenge when necessary, you are known for your integrity and ability to communicate efficiently and effectively at all levels.

Main ResponsibilitiesAs our FP&A Finance Analyst in Insurance, you will be responsible for organising and delivering the insurance regular reporting deliverables across our Underwriting and Claims divisions.
Your accountabilities will include:
Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts including preparation of analysis and commentary in relation to P&L, cash flow and KPI’s for internal stakeholders.
Providing appropriate challenge and support to the commercial teams in order to deliver bi-monthly forecasts and 5-year plan projections which are challenging yet achievable.
Supporting the Commercial Business Partners with the planning and budgeting cycle for the Underwriting and Claims entities within Insurance.
Managing the finance headcount model for the Claims division including analysis of actuals vs budget and forecast monthly.
Continuous design and improvement of existing financial planning processes to satisfy business requirements and support commercial decision making.
Supporting system development, implementation and change to deliver process improvement and enhanced management reporting.
Documentation of all FP&A systems and processes to minimise key person dependencies and enable cross-skilling of the team.
Coaching and developing other team members, leading by example and providing motivation within both FP&A and the wider Finance team.
The Ideal CandidateAs our FP&A Finance Analyst you will be a Part-qualified Accountant, with demonstrated reporting and commercial FP&A experience, preferably within the Insurance industry or similar financial services sectors.
