Front Of House Assistant

A leading London law firm is looking to hire a new permanent Front of House Assistant, within their City based office as the team is growing rapidly, making it a very exciting time to join.

• Salary to £28,000
• Excellent City location
• 8am-6pm shift rotation (8am - 4.30 pm & 9.30 am - 6pm)

This Front of House Assistant position will report directly into the Senior Front of House team member and candidates will ideally have previous reception / Front of House experience in a professional services setting.

Responsibilities for the Front of House Assistant:

• Meeting and greeting all visitors, contractors, employees and providing a welcoming environment
• Managing and updating internal guest list; booking meeting rooms and managing bookings via the calendar; arranging refreshments
• Ensuring tidiness and general upkeep of the reception area, meeting rooms, and providing hospitality for in-house events
• Managing security passes, issuing, logging, and updating the system
• Liaising with clients and Fee Earners face to face and on the telephone
• Managing and filtering incoming switchboard calls
• Providing cover for the Support Team as and when required, and other relevant administration and housekeeping tasks

Requirements for the Front of House Assistant:

• 1 year+ Reception / Front of House professional experience (ideally in a law firm or similar professional services)
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to provide a high standard of client care
• First Aid and Fire Marshal training desirable (not essential)
