We are looking for an experienced Events Manager to lead the Stroke Association’s exciting portfolio of virtual, social, owned and third-party events, and manage a successful team of five. Stroke Association provide specialised support, fund critical research and campaign to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care and support to rebuild their lives. They have developed a bold new strategy so that they can support even more people and make a bigger difference to their lives.
As the Fundraising Events Manager your focus will be the strategic evolution and management of the growing events programme, maximising income generation and ROI whilst ensuring all supporters receive an excellent experience and begin a lifelong relationship with the Stroke Association.
The ideal candidate for Fundraising Events Manager will have:
- Strong project management skills with proven experience of successfully delivering owned, third party or virtual events portfolio
- Team management experience, managing at least 2-3 direct reports
- Excellent organisation and project management skills and experience in developing strong internal and external working relationships
Salary: £40,000-£43,000
Location: Home based with occasional travel
Contract: 12 month maternity contract
