The role:
Warwick Estates are looking for Zone Assistants, with a willingness to learn new skills and the ability to adapt to new challenges.
You will be working as part of a small customer focused team within a specified group of buildings on our campus. Alongside a team of technicians, the role will mainly involve performing routine planned maintenance activities, and responding to minor maintenance issues within your zone. No previous experience in a position like this is required as full training will be provided.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Completing routine planned maintenance activities such as weekly testing of fire alarms, and inspection of fire doors
2. Resolving simple fix maintenance issues such as minor painting works and other minor repairs to the fabric of the buildings
3. Supporting the Estates Stores as business needs dictate
4. Attending training, safety meetings and team meetings
5. Undertaking any such duties as may be requested by the Zone Manager
Skills and Experience:
- While experience of completing planned maintenance activities would be an advantage, full training will be provided
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
- Good communication skills, with the ability to communicate in a customer focused manner with all users of the campus
- IT literate
Additional Information:
Hours for the role are Monday to Friday, on either a full time (36.5 hours) or part time basis. Working hours are either 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm. For part time hours, you would need to be able to commit to 2/3 full days a week, during the hours stated.
This is a 12 month assignment.
