General Cover Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment are actively recruiting for a committed and passionate long term General Cover Teacher to work in a collaborative comprehensive school in the Dover area. This role will be covering a range of subjects to KS3 and KS4 students. This role is an immediate start ongoing until the end of the academic year - July 2024. Salary is between £30,000 and £41,333 per year depending on experience.

The role:

• Deliver engaging lessons across a range of subjects and age groups
• Provide support and guidance to students to facilitate their academic progress
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity in learning and student development
• Upholding the school’s values and standards of behaviour

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience of working with students in a classroom setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic educational environment
• Passion for education and nurturing student growth
• Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
• Legal right to work in the UK
