Our clients are an International Insurance Firm that aims to provide quality products and claims services to their customers and offer a rewarding work environment for all their employees.
The role
You will be engaging with customers in both German and English, investigating claims, handling a range of Customer Service queries, and assisting with their insurance claims.
Responsibilities:
- Inbound and Outbound calls, respond to inquiries within target timescales.
- Fluent translation from German to English and English to German.
- Proactively manage a caseload of claims.
- Investigate claims thoroughly and obtain facts about losses.
- Ensure all data is recorded accurately in the database.
- Arrange for timely repair or equipment replacement with an approved supplier or claims payment.
- Comply with recommendations made by an insurer and internal auditors.
- Resolve customer complaints within target and FCA guidelines.
- Maintain weekly and monthly productivity and work completed reports.
Requirements:
- Fluent in both written and verbal English and German (Essential) - Language test during the interview process
- Able to work from the office for a minimum of 3 days a week
- Experience in Customer Service (Essential)
- Experience in Administration (Essential)
- Experience in an Insurance claims environment (Desirable)
- PC literate and able to use MS Office Applications
- Conflict resolution and negotiation skills
