Global Student Engagement Assistant (Student Placement)

£21,224 per annum

This is a 12 month fixed term Student Placement opportunity. 

Please note that this role is only open to NTU students. Applications from those not a current student at NTU will not be considered.

What you'll do

Here at NTU we're proud to offer placement opportunities to our students and are looking to recruit a Global Lounge Student Engagement Assistant Placement to work in our Global Student Experience team.

As a part of this role you'll be:

• Assisting with the daily management and running of events at the City Global Lounge and Virtual Global Lounge.
• Promoting and enhancing Student Engagement in Global Lounge activities.
• Raising awareness of global opportunities for students across NTU.
• Engaging and networking with students, staff and community partners from a variety of backgrounds.

Global Lounges are social spaces open to all students and staff to learn about and be inspired to engage in global opportunities as well as to connect with the diverse NTU community. The Lounges act as resource centres for students and staff interested in studying abroad, where they can access information on all the opportunities available to them through NTU. They are venues for cultural events and other international-related activities promoting cross-cultural understanding and cooperation as well as the development of an integrated global community made up of UK and international students
