We are recruiting for an excellent opportunity as my client's Governance Administrator based in Enfield, London. This is a full-time opportunity paying £34,341 per annum. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced senior administrator to support the school's governing board and executive team, it's a new and exciting role as we continue to expand. Whilst experience in a similar role in a school setting is desirable, it isn't essential. You'll provide excellent customer care and admin support to the following stakeholder groups, helping them to be successful in their roles. n

- Manage the diaries of the CEO and two directors n
- Ensure the CEO and directors have what they need for meetings: book rooms, prepare and circulate agendas and paperwork, greet guests, provide refreshments and catering, take minutes, and track actions n
- Support the organisation of events e.g. Away Days: research and book venues, organise catering, travel and guest speakers, and circulate agendas. You may need to work an occasional weekend to support events (currently twice a year) n
- Respond to communications on behalf of the CEO and directors. The executive team manage their own email accounts and will forward requests for support. n
- You will answer common questions, follow up on requests for information, and carry out research in a timely manner n
- Collate project updates, reports and documentation n
- Provide an excellent customer service to executive team members n
Person Specification: n
- n
- English GCSE (minimum grade 4) n
- Professional qualification in business administration (or similar e.g. secretarial skills) n
- Several years' experience as an admin assistant/personal assistant to a senior leader in a fast-paced environment n
- Several years' experience working with a governing board or charity trustees n
- Captures the salient points of a meeting and keeps up with the pace n
- Uses ICT effectively to create accurate and professional paperwork n
- Has an excellent attention to detail and gets things right first time n
- Behaves ethically, demonstrating integrity and respecting confidentiality n
- Is proactive and takes responsible initiative, clarifying what's to be done, prioritising workload and knowing when to ask for help n
- Is resilient under pressure and flexible when circumstances change n
- Works well with others, by listening carefully and communicating effectively n
- Is self-aware and committed to ongoing learning and developing n
