SalaryOur client is a well-established medical device organisation and currently is seeking to recruit an Analytical Chemist within their QC Department
responsibilities:
- Sampling and testing incoming raw materials, in process and finished products according to in-house specifications and methods of analysis.
- Perform routine laboratory analyses.
- Ensuring that all laboratory equipment is qualified and calibrated regularly.
- Interpreting data and adhering to strict guidelines on documentation when recording data.
- Using a range of analytical techniques
- Examine analytical data and report trends using statistical software.
- Working collaboratively in cross-functional teams and managing projects.
To be considered for this position you will need the following skills and experience.
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in chemistry or Analytical Chemistry.
- Previous experience in an analytical laboratory as an Analytical Chemist.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organisation skills, with a flexible approach and the ability to manage changing priorities.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office suite, especially Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
