Group Accountant

CY executive resourcing are aligned with a successful company who are looking for a confident, qualified Group Accountant to join them. Working closely with the Financial Controller and being adept with both Financial and Management accounts, this is a wonderful, well-rounded role that would suit a talented individual coming from a practice background.

Role responsibilities will include:

• Production of the Group and statutory accounts and reporting information.
• Production of monthly, quarterly and annual lender reporting packs
• Group Tax compliance reporting as required.
• The support and preparation of Group Audit requirements
• Implementation and ownership of R&D capitalisation in line with IFRS, supporting the wider business to facilitate effective R&D capitalisation
• Assist Financial Controller where required in line with company directives and projects
• Mentoring and supporting junior members of the finance team.

This role requires the skills and experience of a fully qualified, confident accountant, ideally from a practice background although Part Qualified/Finalist may be considered closer to the entry level.

Being proactive, highly organised, and excellent communication and IT skills a prerequisite.
