Job description
We have an exciting and unique opportunity for an experienced Bodyshop Management professional to join our Service directorate as a Group Bodyshop Development Manager. This is a new role to the business and will provide great career advancement for the right candidate.
The Opportunity:
Reporting to our Group Service Director, you will be responsible for driving the Bodyshop & SMART Repair operation forward by identifying, planning and executing new commercial opportunities, future proofing our infrastructures and developing and implementing recruitment strategies.
Working closely alongside the Group Bodyshop Managers, you will manage supplier and service relationships whilst regularly researching, planning and proposing improvement plans and efficiencies. Our current site performance is outstanding therefore your focus will be the future of SMART Repair and identifying growth opportunities.
About You:
We are looking for a dynamic individual with a passion for driving business growth. It is essential you have proven involvement in opening and operating a SMART Repair at Group level as well as the below skills and experience;
- Proven experience in bodyshop management;
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
- Experience in creating and executing a plan successfully (growth strategy);
- Forward thinking & career driven;
- Empathetic and able to handle difficult conversations;
- Full UK driving license.
