What you will be doing...
As our Group Financial Accountant, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality Group financial reporting. The role involves frequent interaction with the Chief Financial Officer, Director of Group Finance & Treasury, General Manager - Group Finance and other senior managers across the Finance team and the wider business.

What you’ll be doing:
- You’ll prepare Group management accounts, including insightful commentary for key stakeholders.
- You’ll assist with the management, co-ordination and delivery of half-year and full-year Group reporting including: Group consolidation; investor presentations; result announcements; covenants reporting and end-to-end Annual Report production.
- You’ll also play a key role in helping to manage the external audit process.
- You’ll assist with the preparation of monthly balance sheet and cashflow reforecasting; and will contribute to the monthly review of balance sheet reconciliations prepared by individuals across the Finance department.
- You’ll also assist with work on other ad-hoc projects as required, such as the implementation of new accounting standards applicable to the Group and facilitating changes to the Group structure.
What you’ll have:
- You’ll be a newly/recently qualified accountant, preferably ACA/ACCA qualified.
- You’ll have strong analytical skills and a high attention to detail.
- You’ll also have the ability to work collaboratively with senior staff within the Finance team and across the business, communicating complex technical accounting matters in simple terms.
- You’ll be adaptable, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment, delivering to tight timescales.
- Experience of IFRS and FRS 101 reporting is required.
