Job Overview

Are you a passionate and hands-on manager with extensive experience in the catering industry? We have an exciting opportunity for a Group Manager to oversee 17 small primary schools in the Coventry and Warwick area. As a key player in our team, you’ll be responsible for ensuring exceptional service delivery, maintaining high standards, and driving success.

• Position: Group Manager
• Sector: Contract Catering (Education)
• Location: Coventry and Warwick area
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm (40 hours per week)
• Term: Term time only (with an additional 2 weeks for training)
• Salary: £42,000 per annum
• Bonus: £5,000 annual bonus based on successful KPI achievement
• Benefits: Company car or allowance, laptop, mobile phone
• Holiday: 10 weeks

Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of catering staff across multiple sites.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure consistent high-quality food service and adherence to health and safety standards.
• Financial Management: Monitor budgets, control costs, and achieve financial targets.
• Client Relations: Build strong relationships with school stakeholders and address their needs.
• Training and Development: Support staff development and training initiatives.
• Problem-Solving: Handle day-to-day operational challenges effectively.
• Craftsmanship: Be hands-on and actively involved in food preparation and service.

Requirements:

• Experience: Extensive background in the catering industry.
• Location: Ideally based in Coventry or Warwick.
• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Passion: A genuine love for food and service excellence.
