Manpower are now recruiting for an Administrator for one of our major clients based in Manchester Trafford Park.
This job role is for a minimum of 9 months, with the potential for extension or taken permanent.
Working hours: Monday-Friday 09:00-17:00
The main purpose of the role is HR/On boarding & Vetting administration, managed by the HRBP Central Functions.
The role of an Administrator will also be to take instruction and direction from the HR Business Partners under the authorisation of the HR Business Partner for Central functions.
Needs to do:
- Be able to work on your own and as part of a team
- Own and resolve customer and external agency enquiries both written and via the telephone
- Ensure that accurate records are kept in line with Data Protection
- Undertake any ad hoc projects as directed
- Be able to travel when requested (minimal)
- Responsible for HR and Vetting inbox, ensuring that queries/responses are dealt with quickly
- Have direct contact with employees/Advisors/Managers & Regional Managers
- Manage completed assessment centre/interview packs
- Make job offers/reserves
- Write and distribute new contracts and contract/personal detail changes
- Process New User Forms and New Starter Packs
- Manage vetting packs & submit Vetting requests to the MOJ
- Manage X-Ref
- Order MOJ badges
- Manage internal applications
- Maternity/Paternity/Shared Parental Leave
- Process leavers
- Weekly Operational Update content
- ER Letters, Investigation Packs and documentation
- Hotel/venue and car bookings
- Provide detailed weekly updates to the HR Business Partners on Vetting status
Desirable:
- Up to date knowledge of HR best practice
- A flexible individual who can support the wider Service Centre as and when required
- Planning and organising daily and weekly tasks/activities
