Hours of Work: 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday
Our client is a leading corrugated packaging manufacturer, supplying to a variety of markets throughout the UK, they have made vast investment into the business over the past few years and have experienced significant growth and increase in workload.
They are currently looking to recruit a hands–on Q.S.E Candidate to join their team. You will be ensuring the correct functioning of the Quality Management System, Environment and H&S Systems to achieve the plant objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure fulfilment of legal regulations and the guidelines on Health and SafetyPrepare Annual Plan for preventive actions in relation to safety at work, industrial hygiene, ergonomics and psychosociology and work healthCarry out the Annual Report on Preventive ActivitiesInvestigate accidents and corrective measuresCo–ordinate tasks to ensure the fulfilment of the provisions of the Prevention Management System: Risk assessment, improvement actions and corrective/predictive actions, prevention service, audits, issue and ensure documentation and procedures/instructions, analyse accident rates, etcActively participate in Safety at Work Committees and Group committeesPlan and manage Health and Safety trainingCo–ordinate the handing out and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Define and co–ordinate safety requirements for emergency plans, fire drills, access control, co–ordination of subcontracted firms, private surveillance and signageCo–ordinate or control requirements for the design and maintenance of fire prevention facilities and private security surveillance systemsCo–ordination of Business Activities at the work place, especially civil works, new facilities, special maintenance workDeal with non–conformities and co–ordinate the analysis of their causes with the relevant area and carry out corrective, preventive and improvement actionsEnsure compliance with current legislation: waste waters, emissions, residues, etcManagement of non–conformities: Corrective, preventive and improvement actionsRelationship with local authorities: authorisations, licences, statistics, etcEnsure and co–ordinate tasks relating to the fulfilment of ISO standards and proceduresPlan, co–ordinate and support the carrying out of internal and external auditsParticipate in Area and Group meetingsControl and direct the management of company' waste waters and residuesMonitor incidents and manage non–conformities (co–ordination with the rest of the functions involved, liaising between quality and commercial department, determining and proposing actions together with the commercial manager)Deal with non–conformities and co–ordinate an analysis into their causes with the corresponding areaOpening and monitoring of the execution of corrective and preventive actionsManage customer returns, provide a response and also an action plan to resolve themAnalysis and processing of data for improvement actions and co–ordination and training of improvement groupsPlan, co–ordinate and support the carrying out of internal and external auditsEnsure and co–ordinate tasks aimed at fulfilling ISO standards, procedures and instructionsManagement of own documentation, reports and statisticsAssess and approve suppliersCalibrate and check the precision of testing, laboratory and production equipmentKPI implementation on all processes, training provided
