Prospectus is excited to be partnering with a climate change organisation in the search for a Head of Development to join their growing organisation.
As the Head of Development, you will be responsible developing and executing a fundraising strategy to support income generation growth and long-term financial sustainability for the organisation. With key income streams including trusts and foundations, and institutional funding, this role will lead a small team to continue securing six and seven-figure multi-year grants. Line managing two, this role will offer leadership whilst still being hands on with income generation and donors.
To be successful as the Head of Development, you will have proven experience of securing six and seven-figure grants from trusts, foundations, and institutional donors. You will have a strong knowledge of philanthropic trends, particularly with the listed types of donor. This person will also be able to evidence creating fundraising strategy that has achieved income generation growth for an organisation. This person will also have previous line management experience and have ambitions to grow the organisation as this income generation function grows.
This role is an initial 24-month contract position that will have hybrid working in the London offices two days per week. The salary for this role is £60,000 to £70,000.
