As they continue to grow, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Document Management to lead our Document Control efforts.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the document management team, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Implement and maintain Viewpoint Document Management Software to ensure it meets the organisation's needs.
- Develop and enforce document management policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their Document Control needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
- Ensure all project-related documents are organised, categorised, and accessible to authorised team members.
- Monitor the document management system's performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support.
- Oversee document version control and distribution to relevant stakeholders.
- Implement best practices for document management, ensuring data security, compliance, and disaster recovery.
- Regularly review and update document management processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Prepare reports and provide insights on Document Control metrics and performance
Role Requirements
- Proven experience in document management, with a focus on Viewpoint Document Management Software.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Document Control best practices, software, and procedures.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and organised with a commitment to accuracy.
- Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks.
