Your new role
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the role is responsible for the design and effective delivery of the finance plan, to ensure it reflects the requirements to support the ambitious commitments laid out in our five-year strategy.
As a senior leader of the Operations Directorate, the role will collaborate with senior colleagues across the organisation exploring the best and most effective ways to maximise our financial performance across the broad range of activities including long-term financial planning and strategy.
The role will provide effective business partnering to the business and senior leaders and will lead the finance team, with direct line management responsibility of team leaders and supervisors.
What you\'ll need to succeed
- Qualified Accountant with 5+ years post qualification experience
- Experience of leading and developing a finance function in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in public sector financial and non-financial reporting
- Demonstrable experience of impactful business partnering
- Experience of leading and developing a strategic plan to include budgeting responsibilities
- Experience of preparing budgets and forecasts
- Experience of managing the finance of a portfolio of projects and project approval in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Experience of implementing new systems and reporting processes
- Strong understanding of Data protection and GDPR
