Description

Lead and manage the finance team to deliver accurate and timely financial reporting
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and financial regulations
Oversee all aspects of budgeting, financial forecasting, and financial analysis
Develop and implement effective financial policies and procedures
Participate in strategic planning and decision making at the senior management level
Manage the preparation of the institution's budget
Communicate with and present to the Board of Trustees on the institution's financial performance
Engage with external auditors and manage the audit process

Profile

A successful Head of Finance should have:
A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Proven experience in a similar role within the not-for-profit or education sector
Strong knowledge of Finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Superior analytical skills and a strategic mindset
