Head Of Finance

I'm partnered with a repeat client who are seeking a new Head of Finance to join their innovative, growing organisation in south Oxfordshire.

This permanent role will be integral to this organisation's continued transformation and offers the opportunity to work at the heart of the business and heavily involved with an exciting period of change. Reporting into the Head of Finance and Operations you will oversee a team of transactional accountants and business partners, establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, be involved with multiple projects, and contribute to the commercial strategy of the business as they continue on their exciting growth journey.

Key responsibilities include:

• Partner with the senior leadership team, presenting the Board and executives with accurate budgets, forecasting, and insight.
• Lead the finance team to deliver results to strict transactional deadlines and adhere to compliance. Instil robust financial processes and systems and create a culture of continuous improvement.
• Drive and oversee the annual budgeting and forecasting processes
• Contribute towards business strategy by providing financial analysis relating to projects and business cases, and support with the bidding process and contract management.
• Partner with key stakeholders and Directors to maximise expenditure impact and investment return
• Lead on all external and internal audits.

You must be a fully qualified accountant with demonstrable experience of preparing budgets and forecasts, systems implementation, and leading teams within a deadline-driven environment. Experience within the public sector space would be advantageous, as would project portfolio management and knowledge of Xero.

Salary offered is up to £70k with excellent benefits including very generous holiday and pension.
