Job description
I am currently recruiting an interim Head of Finance for a charity based in Huntingdon. The role is due to start in the next week or two and is required until the end of May.
The Head of Finance will be responsible for leading on all financial aspects of financial management for the charity, which includes both an effective financial accounting service and also providing business partnering to key stakeholders in the charity.
The role is responsible for managing a team of 5 staff, so interested candidates should have prior staff management experience.
This is a varied role, you will ensure the production of timely and accurate management accounts, to include balance sheet schedules and control accounts, maintain budget and forecast data, lead on the production of the charity's annual budget and five year financial plan, lead on the preparation of the statutory accounts in accordance with charity SORP.
The role is offered on a hybrid basis, you would only need to be in the office 1 day per week.
Interested candidates should be qualified - ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent. Candidates with prior experience in the Charity sector would be advantageous, but not essential.
