Head Of Finance

I am currently partnering with a leading retail / ecommerce business based in the Lichfield who require a Head of Finance to join the business. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a truly exciting, entrepreneurial business which over the last 10 years has seen impressive growth, they are now a main market leader in the UK!

They are on the lookout for an experienced, commercially focussed and highly strategic Head of Finance / Finance Director who wants to drive, impact, lead positive change, and implement new ideas to accelerate further success working closely with the board of directors and CEO.

Key responsibilities:

• Overseeing all aspects of the accounting function, leading a team of circa 10 in a variety of areas within the business
• Provide financial input and support to the different divisions, review operations to enhance financial performance, and ensure the integrity of financial systems.
• Managing change and implementing business improvements, preparing business plans, overseeing insurance cover and compliance with regulations.
• Accountable for preparing annual and half-year accounts, monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts, cashflows and maintaining the fixed asset register.

Key requirements:

• Post-qualified Accountant at ideally a 'Head of’ level with experience of managing / developing a team.
• Ability to liaise with key stakeholders both in and outside of the business to push performance in different divisions.
• Identifying and introducing new product ranges aligned with target markets and enhancing customer engagement.
• Deliver on ad-hoc projects throughout the business to better use technologies, systems and general business improvement.
