Our client is looking for an experienced and results-driven Finance Director to lead the finance department and play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy of the organisation. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, possess strong analytical skills, and have a proven track record in financial management within the FMCG or manufacturing industries.
Salary on offer is up to £85,000 per annum, with LTIP options included in the package.
Key responsibilities of the Head of Finance position:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth objectives.
- Provide leadership and direction to the finance team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Analyse financial data and provide insights to support business decision-making.
- Manage relationships with financial institutions, investors, and other key stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and cost optimisation.
- Assess and mitigate financial risks while identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Contribute to strategic business planning and provide financial guidance to senior management.
Requirements for the Head of Finance position:
- Recognised Accountancy Qualification - ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
- Proven experience as either a Financial Controller or Finance Director or in a similar senior finance role within the FMCG or Manufacturing industries.
- Strong understanding of international finance and exposure to diverse markets.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to drive financial performance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in financial modelling and analysis tools.
- Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and reporting standards.
