Job Description
Morgan McKinley is partnering with a fast growing Healthcare business based in Bath to recruit a Head of Finance into a pivotal role for the organisation.
Head of Finance - HealthcareThe Client My client is a fast growing organisation with an outstanding reputation, who have grown from c£22mln to nearly £40mln in the last few years, and are an autonomous, privately run Healthcare organisation who benefit from links to the NHS. The leadership team is compassionate, supportive and inclusive, and this is very much reflected in the culture of the organisation.
The Role This is a key hire for my client, and this role will be part of the Senior Management Team, with an opportunity to really make a difference through driving innovation, continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives across the organisation. Hybrid working is on offer, with the successful candidate ideally in the office 2 or 3 days a week. The key areas of the role will include:
- Financial Planning & Analysis
- Financial Management & Control
- Financial & BI Reporting
- Business Partnering / Stakeholder Engagement
- Contract Management
Specific areas of focus will include pulling together 3 sets of P&L's for consolidation, and ultimately understanding how they all work in their own right. You will be required to focus on current processes and make changes where required, and provide strong leadership for the team that has gone through some transition. The Candidate To be considered for this fantastic opportunity, you will need to be a Qualified Accountant with experience of working in Healthcare / NHS, with knowledge of NHS financial frameworks. Experience with all aspects of management accounting and budgeting, plus experience of preparing annual statutory accounts, are essential. You must also be a confident business partner, with strong leadership and mentoring skills, and a willingness and passion for driving efficiencies and growth.
