Our team at Sellick Partnership are actively seeking a Head of Housing Services for a well-established social housing provider based in the Northeast region. You will act as an operation lead reporting to the Director of Operations and will be focused on ensuring customers are satisfied, and assets are protected. Ideally you will be overseeing five direct reports and over 170 colleagues within the Housing Services.

Responsibilities for Head of Housing Services:

• Providing leadership to deliver Housing Services to ensure the organisation is fully compliant with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and support a cultural health and safety change, delivering policies and procedures that ensures the safety of customers including safeguarding.
• Ensure we high standards of performance is achieved in all areas including debt, re-lets, community safety and satisfaction.
• Work collaboratively across customer services and the wider business to deliver a great service, ensure the voice of colleagues and key customers are actively used in product / service design.

Essential Experience Required for Head of Housing Services:

• A relevant degree or professional qualification i.e., such as the Chartered Institute of Housing. Equivalent demonstrable work experience and evidence of continuing professional development.
• Proven track record of successful strategic leadership and direct management and development of senior professional colleagues within a housing context and knowledge of developing and managing a customer driven service.
• A skilled influencer and negotiator able to communicate effectively with external stakeholders, customers, colleagues, and Board members to include report writing and presentations.
