Head of HR

Sir William Perkins’s School is looking to appoint a dynamic HR professional to lead its HR function.

Reporting to the Head, this role will have overall responsibility for leading the Human Resources strategy within the School and will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure that all areas of HR are effectively delivered to our staff.

About us

Sir William Perkins’s School is a high-performing, academically selective, independent girls’ school for approximately 600 students aged 11 – 18 years. The Head is both a member of HMC and GSA. It is located on an attractive 12- acre site situated on the outskirts of Chertsey, a two-minute walk from the railway station and very near to the junction of the M3 and M25.

About you

• The ideal postholder will be an outstanding and experienced HR professional, who will bring the experience and skills required to help shape the future workforce of the School.
• You will be working in an HR team of three and will have line management responsibility for the other members in the department.
• You will have Level 7 CIPD (or working towards) and will have previous budget and line management experience.
