On behalf of my client, an OUTSTANDING national apprenticeship provider, I am seeking an exceptional candidate to join their team as the Head of Key Accounts.

The Role:

As the Head of Key Accounts, you will lead interaction with employers across their portfolio, responsible for managing existing high-value partnerships and ensuring these key clients receive high-quality service. Your primary focus will be fostering long-term relationships and maintaining the company’s esteemed values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and nurture existing high-value partnerships, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
  • Oversee the setup and smooth transition of new contracts.
  • Play a pivotal role in defining, planning, and rolling out new service offerings.
  • Maintain proactive customer relationship management with key clients.
  • Facilitate sourcing of therapists for new contracts and manage performance issues.
  • Forecast and plan team resourcing in line with sales pipeline.
  • Act as the point of escalation for clients, managing complaints and ensuring resolution.
  • Analyse monthly management information and present findings in management meetings.
  • Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and profitability.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven senior management and leadership experience.
  • Client-facing and project management experience (PRINCE2 qualification advantageous).
  • Recruitment, selection, and employee management experience.
  • Proficiency in reporting KPIs and preparing tenders.
  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel, including creating complex flow diagrams and project budgets.
  • Excellent presentation skills and an eye for good design.
  • Knowledge of the apprenticeship sector is a necessity.
  • Willingness to undertake a DBS check.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and quality.
