For September 2024, we are looking for a Head of Music for a thriving North London School.
The role is open to MPS/UPS teacher and also carries a TLR point dependant on experience.
Applicants must hold QTS and have a Music related degree.
The successful Music Teacher will join a vibrant faculty with an enthusiastic and passionate staff team. The school is judged to be good in all areas and as a result of strong leadership and management, the school is continually improving further.
Music is a very popular across the school as such this is a very important role and your subject is held in high regard by the Senior Leadership Team. We are seeking a passionate music teacher with innovative teaching and leadership ideas and a proven ability to drive up achievement and interest in Music.
Previous responsibility experience within a department is advantageous but not essential for the role. The role would suit a current HOD looking for a new school to progress their career, equally it would suit a teacher of 2 to 3 years experience now looking to step up into a Head of Music role.
Most importantly you should be a passionate Music teacher who is looking to progress their career within a dynamic and supportive environment. You should now think you are ready to progress into leading on music across a Secondary School.
