AddressHead of Product Operations
Within the Product Advancement Unit “Bentley Infrastructure Cloud” we are looking for a head of Product Operations, located in the UK, Europe or North America.
Position Summary:
Reporting into the SVP of the unit, you will help shape and deliver the future direction our products take, working closely with product management, UX, engineering and the user success teams. You will orchestrate the processes for setting strategy and deciding on development priorities with the leadership team. You will work with the globally distributed team of Product managers providing the fact base and insights that support effective decision making. You will be managing a small team initiate and lead strategic and operational excellence initiatives across the organization.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Product Management, is strong in establishing pragmatic processes without requiring them to operate effectively and is hands-on analytical to turn data into insights.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Orchestrate and contribute to the process of defining the product strategy, cascading it to the broader organization and making it actionable for empowered teams to prioritize their product backlogs accordingly
- Improve product launch planning preserving the empowerment and agility of the development teams while increasing transparency and accountability
- Formalize the approach to discover, explore and elaborate product innovations better validating and preparing use cases prior to development with agility and scale
- Work with the product management and UX team to activate the existing user community to continuously validate innovation ideas and product enhancements
- Instill a culture of fact-base decision making with usage and adoption as a centerpiece, taking usage tracking and reporting to the next level
- Define and continuously engage the processes for a scalable roll-in of requirements (idea place) in close collaboration with stakeholders from support and user success
- Manage and develop a small team with a broad range of skills from program management, business operations to reporting and cost controlling
What You Bring to The Team:
- 10+ years of professional experience including in product management
- Multiple years of experience in consulting or business operations with a strong contribution to effective decision making and executive communications
- Familiarity with the field of infrastructure engineering is a plus
- Experience in problem solving within fast-paced and constantly changing environments
- An ability to drive change and bring a new level of operational excellence to a large team through the development of formalized yet pragmatic processes
- Preference to candidates with at least 5 years experience managing teams
- Experience with SaaS product businesses is a strong plus
- Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels with internal and external decision makers
- Advanced degree (MBA, Masters, or PhD) in business, economics, or computer science
