Head of HR – Global Talent Management – London based – Based on site – West London - Excellent Package
AW Media recruitment are proud to be exclusively supporting this award-winning global Talent Management and production group with offices across major entertainment hubs in London, Los Angeles, and New York and we are looking for a dynamic Head of HR to join their team.
Reporting to the established Global Director of HR & Ops and with the support of a People Ops Partner, this position sits across facilities, operations, IT & HR. Supporting around 230 employees including production (freelancers).
In this newly created position, the Head of HR will be responsible for driving and contributing to a vibrant, diverse, and positive workplace culture by developing and implementing HR initiatives across the international organisation. You will oversee all aspects of HR, including full employee lifecycle management, policy definition, HR support, and solidifying talent attraction and retention strategies.
Partnering in a collaborative team, you will be as happy rolling your sleeves up and getting involved in the day to day as much as being the driver of projects on a global scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's core values and growth plans.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and offboarding processes.
- Oversee compensation, benefits, and employee engagement programs.
- Drive performance, development, coaching, career planning, and Talent Management initiatives.
- Support and promote a high-performance culture where teams thrive and grow.
- Strategize end-to-end talent acquisition reflecting quality, diversity, and exceptional candidate experience.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and maintain HR best practices knowledge.
- Collaborate with leadership on organisational challenges, providing strategic HR insights.
- Train managers on employment law and effective people management practices.
- Lead and contribute to the company's Diversity & Inclusion policy and initiatives.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Seasoned HR generalist with extensive entertainment industry or dynamic company experience.
- Excellent coaching, mentoring, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven end-to-end talent acquisition and retention expertise.
- Data-driven approach to measuring success and solving problems.
- Adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities seamlessly.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic mindset.
- Entrepreneurial and collaborative team player.
- Global company and US employment law knowledge would be a huge advantage.
