As a valued member of our ambitious senior leadership team, you’ll lead and develop our Home First service.
You’ll oversee our hospital, occupational therapy, reablement and assistive technology teams, working closely with the Home First Managers, to make sure people have access to flexible, co-ordinated and personalised care and support that enables them to live the life they choose to lead.
You’ll also lead the strategic development of the service. You’ll work closely with Doncaster people with lived experience of seeking and drawing on support, and senior officers both internally and externally, to help shape the future of both the service and of wider community support, tangibly benefitting the lives of local people.
Promoting wellbeing and independence is at the heart of our Home First Services, ensuring people are supported gain or regain stability and control in their lives, and to do the things that matter most to them. A relational, rights-based approach and a commitment to wellbeing in its broadest sense will come naturally to you. You’ll have the skills to turn your values into action. You will understand and role model the behaviours to lead in a complex system and be willing to work across organisational boundaries. Above all you’ll promote the human rights of the people we are here to serve. In doing so you’ll support the Adults, Wellbeing and Culture directorate to make best use of our resources and support high quality care and support in Doncaster.
