We are now looking for a Head of Technical Integrity Management within Integrated Operations in our Generation organization, in Business Area Wind.
Generation is the organization that is fully accountable for the Asset performance of Vattenfall’s offshore wind farms. This includes operating the wind farms through optimization of revenues in relation to the power market and maintaining the wind farms in a healthy, safe, sustainable and cost efficient way to ensure best availability and full compliance with requirement.
You will be part of Integrated Operations, which has responsibility for enabling the instalment of strong operation and maintenance of our wind farms and by being an integrated part of the site operations, enabling the sites in harvesting the benefits of being part of the Vattenfall portfolio. Integrated Operations consists of four teams i.e., O&M Projects & Logistics, Operational Control Centre, Technical Integrity Management and Supply Chain & Maintenance Systems. The unit is a vital part of the journey to be a best in class operator and it creates a lot of existing opportunities to take part in.
What will you do?
The main responsibility of the Head of Technical Integrity Management is to ensure the performance of Technical Integrity Management department. Being the central point of all technical requests, developing maintenance strategies/plans, and ensuring that integrity of assets is maintained throughout assets lifetime. Moreover Head of Technical Integrity Management also ensures that the team is living up to Vattenfall´s values and driving safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
You will leading leaders of a department consisting of 5 teams that is organized internationally and you will report directly to the Head of Integrated Operations.
The department’s core responsibilities covered by the 5 teams are described below:
First Line Technical Support
- Responsible for supporting Sites via gathered or collected known solutions, bringing the asset back into operations if stopped or if starting is not possible how to leave the asset in a safe mode to prevent further damage.
- Receive via a TECH ticketing system or Hotline call, and effectively evaluate technical requests (issues incl. troubleshooting or opportunities) to ensure accurate assessment and best solution, for each situation, is provided in a timely manner;
- Ensure that Reset Alarm Guide is up to date;
- Provide input to generate standardized solutions; and
- Provide trainings on TECH tool.
Second Line Technical Support
- Ensure that technical solutions which can be standardised are captured in solution database to allow quick retrieval/answering when receiving queries via TECH ticketing system or hotline call;
- Ensure that corrective standard work packages (general task list) are captured in a solution database to allow quick planning and scheduling for trouble-shooter planners;
- Ensure WTG software updates are evaluated by relevant parties;
- Ensure complete availability of Technical and working documentation; and
Service documentation
- Compile and write technical and working documentation for sites, including working Instructions, method statements, risk assessments, and approved work procedure library.
Asset Integrity
- Drive the AIM System, ensuring that integrity of asset is maintained throughout life of asset; and be responsible for operational Integrity Management with focus on risk as the main driver.
Maintenance development
- Develop maintenance strategies/plans;
- Product owner of Technical compliance work incl. IT solution for maintaining compliance;
- Product owner of performance & financial tool;
- Responsible for Reliability & Condition data development;
- Product owner of Technical management of change;
- Product owner of Technical Investment proposal; and
- Support on operational planning with technical input.
Din bakgrund
Your background
- Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant field.
- At least 8 years of experience from working in a similar leadership position in the energy sector or a technical industry. Offshore/onshore wind knowledge from a development, project or O&M role is desirable
- Experience within Asset and Integrity Management and maintenance strategy work is desirable.
- Extensive experiences in technical, operation and maintenance are necessary.
- Demonstrated ability to lead international teams, driving a performance culture and development of key skills and knowledge
- Experience of implementing successful changes in an operational and highly dynamic environment;
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, comfortable at presenting, building relationships and influencing others, while working effectively across diverse cultures and geographical locations.
- Highly motivated, inspiring and communicative leader
- Health and safety as the highest priority
- Comprehensive presentation and calculation skills for e.g. MS-Office package and previous experience with SAP and electrical knowledge are beneficial.

Location
The Vattenfall location for this position is any of the main offices of Offshore Wind, Kolding, Esbjerg, Hamburg, Amsterdam, London or Stockholm.
