We are looking for passionate and experienced Healthcare Assistants to work with our elderly and vulnerable service user groups in the Gateshead, Newcastle, Sunderland & Durham areas. You can choose which location/ area you prefer to work in. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and also an interest in working with vulnerable adults. The successful candidates will work directly with a variety of service users who are both ambulatory and non-ambulatory. The Healthcare Assistants will need to be able to perform a variety of duties, such as personal care, medication administration, food shopping, meal preparations, maintaining a habitable home environment, involvement with writing service user daily care notes, supporting with community access, assisting with therapeutic activities and ensuring that the service user's needs and wishes are met.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
