Thanks to a new five-year grant from the Big Lottery, H4All is seeking a Health & Wellbeing Programme Officer.
This role is offered as full-time, although part-time job sharing will be considered please specify your preference when you submit your application.
The team s primary objectives are to:
Grow resilience and increase the capacity of Hillingdon s health-focused voluntary sector organisations;Promote innovative approaches to improving population health and wellbeing, and;Improve collaborative working across the voluntary sector.
For the role of Health and Wellbeing Officer the main responsibilities will be:
Working with the Community Health Services Development Manager, to contribute to the development of projects and programmes that contribute to the health and wellbeing of Hillingdon s residentsTo support the creation of effective delivery partnerships from across the Hillingdon Health and Wellbeing Alliance that are best placed to deliver new projects and programmes as funding is securedTo continue to deliver programmes that improve communication with health and care services, such as Community Champions and the Community Health Roadshows in partnership with Primary CareTo work with colleagues and other partners to identify or develop culturally-specific activities and support within marginalised and BAMER communities.

The ideal candidate will need:
Experience of partnership working with a range of other organisations.Experience of project development and deliveryExperience of organising public events and an awareness of relevant legislative requirements, such as risk assessments and health and safety considerationsAn understanding of effective partnership working and skilled in creating new partnerships
