Key Responsibilities:1. Safely and efficiently operate a HGV Class 1 vehicle to transport goods and materials between various locations.2. Conduct pre and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring all safety and maintenance protocols are followed.3. Adhere to all relevant road transport legislation, including tachograph and driving hour regulations.4. Ensure prompt and accurate completion of all delivery paperwork, including recording quantities and obtaining appropriate signatures.5. Collaborate with warehouse and logistics staff to ensure accurate loading and unloading of goods.6. Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach when interacting with clients and colleagues.
Qualifications and Requirements:1. Possession of a valid HGV Class 1 license is essential.2. Valid CPC qualification and digital tachograph card.3. Proven experience working as an HGV Class 1 Driver within the driving industry.4. Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations and transport legislation.5. Good understanding of vehicle maintenance and reporting procedures.6. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.7.
