Salary Ideal Recruit is currently seeking a Mechanic / Garage Assistant to join our esteemed client's team in Walkden.
In this role, you will:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and trailers to VOSA standard.Diagnose and resolve various types of faults.Assist disabled vehicles at roadside or customer premises.Coordinate with third–party vendors to procure parts and maintain stock levels.Ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices.Uphold a high standard of cleanliness and organization within the garage.Maintain up–to–date product knowledge through ongoing training opportunities. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with hours ranging from 10 am to 7 pm.
