We are looking to appoint a qualified and enthusiastic HLTA to join our friendly team of hard-working staff starting September 2024
The position is part time (31.25 hours per week) and a significant part of your role will include covering classes on a regular basis as part of PPA cover. You will be part of a really great team of support staff, all of whom help provide additional support within the classroom and support our lunchtime supervision. Mayhill is a lovely 2 form entry junior school with wonderful children ready to learn within our friendly and supportive ethos.
We are looking for someone who:-
- understands the importance of building strong relationships with the children
- may have an area of curriculum expertise (from computing to art to music etc...)
- who is a team player and wants to be part of a team that goes the extra yard to make a difference
- who can use their initiative
- flexibility
- has strong communication skills with adults as well as children
- Ideally you will have experience of working in a school environment with individuals or small groups, also a First Aid qualification would be an advantage.
